Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the Garage Ustad mobile application (“App”), (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, you must not use the App.
1.1 “App” refers to the mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to provide diagnostic trouble code (DTC) and fault-resolution guidance to vehicle mechanics.
1.2 “User” or “you” means any person who downloads, installs, accesses, or uses the App.
1.3 “Content” means all text, images, diagnostic data, recommendations, and other materials made available through the App.
By installing, accessing, or using the App in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms and conditions that may apply to specific features of the App.
You represent and warrant that:
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal or internal professional use.

You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date vehicle information when prompted by the App (make, model, year, VIN, symptoms, etc.).
You understand that the AI-generated guidance is advisory only and must be corroborated by your own professional inspection, testing, and judgment.
You will adhere to all safety guidelines, workshop protocols, and manufacturer service manuals when following any diagnostic or repair recommendation.
The App uses machine learning and AI to suggest potential causes and solutions for vehicle faults. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated diagnosis.
The Content is not a substitute for professional mechanical training, certification, or hands-on diagnostic testing equipment.
Any reliance on the App’s recommendations is at your own risk. We disclaim all liability for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from your use of the App or implementation of its guidance.
All intellectual property rights in the App, its underlying software, AI models, and Content are owned by or licensed to us. You acknowledge that you have no right to the source code, data sets, or AI models used by the App.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and disclose information. By using the App, you consent to such collection and processing of your information.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall we, our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Garage Ustad and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your use or misuse of the App.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within Uttar Pradesh .
